Delhi: So far, 35 people have died in the violence that started on Sunday in North East Delhi. Police are deployed in the areas and are fully equipped to prevent any untoward incident.
Amidst the incidents of violence in these areas, many stories of brotherhood and mutual harmony were also heard. During the violence on 25 February, some Hindus came forward to save it from the rioters who came to burn a mosque in Ashok Nagar, Delhi. The mosque is adjacent to the houses of some Muslim families living nearby.
The rioters were trying to set the houses and mosques of Muslims on fire. Meanwhile, Hindus, giving example of brotherhood, gave them shelter in their house and did not let the mosque burn.
People living here told the media that the rioters were outsiders. They also told that the rioters were aged between 20 and 25 years. However, Hindu and Muslim families set an example of brotherhood here, protecting each other and thwarting the nefarious designs of the rioters.
At the same time, some Hindu and Muslim families in Chand bagh in Delhi also set an example of brotherhood amidst violence. According to the information, it is a Muslim dominated area. There are three temples here. During the violence, the rioters who attacked the temples here were stopped by the Muslims and did not allow anyone to harm them. During this time Muslims and Hindus maintained brotherhood.
