Story of The Film
Kondhana Durg or Sinhagarh.
This film depicts the battle that took place in Kondhana Durg on 4 February 1670, recorded in the pages of history. In this war, Tanaji and Maratha warriors fought against Rajput commander Udaybhan Rathore.
The Mughal ruler Aurangzeb gave Udayabhan the responsibility of protecting the fort of Kondhana. Shivaji Maharaj wanted to liberate this fort from the Mughal ruler and Tanaji Malusare fulfilled Shivaji Maharaj's wish.
Tanaji had won this fort on the strength of indomitable courage but he was martyred in this battle. When Shivaji Maharaj got the news of Tanaji's martyrdom, he had said that the fort was found, but my lion was lost.
Since then the name of this Kondhana darg was Sinhagarh.
Ajay as Tanhaji
A brave and loyal warrior who can do anything for his country and Shivaji Maharaj. Ajay Devgan impresses in Tanaji's character. It is clear on the screen that Ajay Devgan has worked hard for Tanaji's character.
Kajol as Savitri Bai
Savitri Bai is Tanaji's wife. Kajol plays the role of Savitri Bai. It is always nice to see Kajol and Ajay Devgan on the film screen. Kajol's performance makes the film scene even more spectacular.
Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod
In the film, Saif Ali Khan is seen giving tremendous competition to Ajay with his acting. Saif has brilliantly played Udaybhan Rathod's most feared character. Viewers will never forget Saif's performance. Talking of the film's USP, that is just Ajay and Saif.
Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj , Luke Kenny as Aurangzeb, Padmavati Rao as Jija Bai, Devadatta Nage as Suryaji Malusare, have played their characters well.

Director Om Raut (in Black T-Shirt)
Om Raut is the director of Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior . His direction is good, Om Raut has done a fantastic job. Editing is satisfactory. Animals are used less in the film, most of the animals have been created with VFX . VFX is well used to show characters riding and fighting.
A Scene from Film Tanhaji
Action sequences are the biggest strengths of the film. The action sequences filmed between Maratha warriors and Mughal soldiers are worth watching. The second half of the film looks awesome because of the action sequences.
The grandeur and visuals of the film's sets are good. The music and background score of the film is excellent, which sounds fantastic in the film.
If you are thinking of watching a good film, then you must watch this film.
