The Yemen government blamed Iran-allied Houthi rebels for the attack. But the Houthi  have not yet claimed responsibility for the attack. According to locals, a few hours after the attack in Marib, a pro-Saudi-led coalition of the Yemen government carried out several series of airstrikes at the military-controlled militia in the south-east of Sana, the capital of the Houthi rebels group. There is no news of anyone being killed.
