Deepika gets emotional talking about the film during the trailer launch event. The film Chhapak is based on the life of Acid Attack Survivor Lakshmi Aggarwal. Deepika is in the lead role, Vikrant Massey as her husband. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar.
